Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic set to undergo his medical on Tuesday ahead of his move to Leicester City.

The 32-year-old will become Craig Shakespeare's third signing of the summer for a deal worth upwards of £2 million.

The one-time Switzerland global made 22 appearances for Hull City last season, however saw his side relegated to the Championship after finishing in 18th position.

He is then expected to be assessed by the club's medical staff and finalize a transfer, however it is unclear whether he will be a Leicester player in time to play in the Foxes' opening Premier League Asia Trophy tie against West Brom on Wednesday.

The 2015-16 Premier League champions have already signed Harry Maguire from Hull and also Sevilla captain Vicente Iborra. Here we have someone who Schmeichel would actually have to fight to be able to nail down his place in the first choice XI, a fact that's well reflected in the five clean sheets that he managed to keep last season, two of them coming against Manchester United and Liverpool.

Jakupovic is now expected to join up with Leicesters other new teammates in Hiong Kong, but may not feature until the Foxes return home to play Luton Town on the 26th of July.
