With Galaxy Tab S3, company aims to take a direct shot at Apple's iPad Pro which launched earlier this year. The tablet runs Android 7.0 Nougat. An important upgrade in the design of the Galaxy Tab S3 is the glass back which until now could only be seen in the premium Galaxy phones.

The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display, along with top-notch features such as the voice assistant Bixby that was first showcased on the Galaxy S8 smartphones. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the Home Button. On the hardware front, the device is powered by an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The Tab comes in Black and Silver colour options. The device also comes with the six-pin keyboard connectivity support and a Stylus Pen which is new to the Galaxy Tab S series. The tablet is also selling a keyboard cover at Rs 8,499. As we mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 battery is rated at 6000mAh.

The tablet comes with a four stereo speaker setup which is tuned by AKG, and the company boasts that it can automatically change the direction when you switch from landscape to portrait.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. Priced at Rs 47,990, the tablet will be available starting from today onwards through offline and online channels (Amazon and Flipkart).

Samsung has also tied up with Reliance Jio and will be offering double data offer - 28GB + 28GB data to the users at Rs 310, which will be valid up to December 31, 2017. On the connectivity front, the device support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C and Global Positioning System.
