TV host and comedian Steve Harveys former wife Mary Shackelford has sued him for $60 million, claiming he has "damaged her soul" after nine years of marriage.

If you thought the revelation of Steve Harvey's diva-like memo to talk show staff ordering them not to approach him was the most embarrassing thing that could happen to him, then you haven't seen the absolutely bonkers lawsuit that his ex-wife just flung at him. On Wednesday (05-17-17) she filed a lawsuit against the funnyman for up to $60 million.

Mary said she has been suicidal and has resorted to harmful forms of self-medication to handle the aftermath of their contentious divorce battle that according to Mary, left her with nothing.

Additionally, Vaughn is suing for alleged child endangerment, torture, kidnapping, breach of contract, conspiracy against rights, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and "soul murdering".

Interestingly, Mary's lawsuit was filed in a court of law by Mary's "civil rights activist" and not an attorney.

In the videos, Mary also accused Harvey of taking their son from her, but the 2011 court documents revealed that Mary knowingly sent their son to Harvey without Harvey's knowledge.

Steve and Mary were married from 1996 to 2005. "In fact, [Mary] was awarded three homes in the property settlement", Daily News writers continued, "and also received $40,000 per month through March 2009 and then an additional $1.5 million", sometime thereafter.

Steve, who is now married to fashion blogger Marjorie, is yet to comment on this report. As she puts it, "All was loss Mary L. Harvey was dead".
