AAP PAC suspends Kapil Mishra from primary membership of party

While addressing a press conference, Mishra said that AAP leaders were saying that he was colluding with the BJP.

His surprise sacking came days after he sided with senior party leader Kumar Vishwas who has been at loggerheads with the party leadership. "I didn't meet CM on 5 May, Mishra is lying", Satyendar Jain told to the media.

"On being asked, the CM evaded answering where the money came from and said that some things in politics cannot be explained", the sacked MLA alleged.

Mishra has claimed Jain had told him in a private conversation that he had "settled" a Rs 50 crore land deal in favour of a relative of the chief minister.

Mishra had informed Lt Governor Anil Baijal about the issue and is also ready to provide details to investigating agencies. "We will record Mishra's statement and law will take its due course", Meena said.

Today, Mishra submitted a complaint at the ACB office.

.

The water tanker scam revolves around irregularities in hiring some 385 stainless steel water tankers by the Delhi Jal Board in 2012, during Kejriwal's predecessor, Sheila Dikshit's rule.

Delhi Congress President Ajay Maken said Mishras claims were not mere allegations but testimony of an eyewitness warranting criminal proceedings against Kejriwal.

Dubbing the allegations levelled by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kapil Mishra as baseless, party leader Sanjay Singh on 8 May said it is a conspiracy by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to dethrone it.

"I am the only minister with no corruption charges". "AAP was formed on three basic premises of fight against corruption, internal democracy and Lokpal". Yesterday, however, Vishvas had said he does not believe that Kejriwal can take money.

Social activist Anna Hazare said he was pained at seeing his former colleague in the anti-corruption campaign facing allegations of corruption.

The complainants also claimed that between 2015 and 2016, Mr. Bansal failed to complete certain contracts, but got the whole payment because of the political pressure exerted by Mr. Kejriwal. But the Chief Minister's response, he said today, was unexpected. The party asserted that was Mishra was making such allegations against Kejriwal "out of desperation" after being expelled from the Cabinet.

Previous year in August, Dikshit was "examined" by the ACB officials in connection with her alleged involvement in the tanker scam besides being handed over a set of 18 written questions. But I can not stay silent after what I witnessed.”.

"Arvind Kejriwal ko kharidne wala abhi tak is duniya me bana nahi hai (The person who can buy out Arvind Kejriwal is yet to be born)".

For a long time, talk about corruption involving funding, Punjab elections and Delhi government have been going on, he said. "I want to ask Kejriwal if he will resign the day when Jain is sent to jail in a corruption case", he had said. Try removing me from the party.
