Samsung Launches Galaxy S8 In India

You can pre-order Samsung S8 to reserve one for you today. However, as far as the launch of the device is concerned, the South Korean tech giant might take at-least more than a month to release it, even if it is ready now. The Galaxy S8+ is simply a larger Galaxy S8 with a bigger battery. Samsung has also set a sales target of over 60 million units, which is more than what was expected for Galaxy S7.

Coming to the price, Samsung Galaxy S8 has been priced at $720, which is around Rs. 46,500 in Indian value, while Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been priced at $840, which is around Rs. 54,200 in Indian value, as per Hindustan Times. As we're sure you will recall, Samsung's best smartphone to date was recalled previous year - twice - after some Note 7 batteries burst into flames, causing injuries and property damage in the process.

With no physical home button to house the finger print sensor, Samsung placed it at the back of the device right next to the camera module.

Now talking about the specifications of the phones, both of them are very similar.

If you buy phones and you're in it for the long haul, like 2-3 years, then things like how easy is the phone to fix is an important question. In the U.S., the release date of Samsung Galaxy S8 is pushed back because the smart assistant Bixby is not able to understand English. Both phones come with 4GB RAM, and there's 64GB storage on board, which is expandable to 200GB.

The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch display screen, while the Galaxy S8+ has a 6.2-inch screen.

The dual-camera setup, according to Kuo, will be the "most important upgrade" in the Galaxy Note 8.

In addition to the March security patches - which bring fixes for dozens of vulnerabilities in Android, and some unique to Galaxy devices - they also include "various system improvements". Samsung is relying so much on its personal assistant that it has given a dedicated button on the side. And along with that, we also got the new Gear 360 camera. It would also be available for offline purchase via Samsung's official retail partners. It supports USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
