Ohio's Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is showing off its five-month-old female polar bear cub, and it's asking visitors to choose a name for the adorable 75-pound creature.

The central OH zoo says the public will have a chance to weigh in on a name for the female cub. The central OH zoo said the public will have a chance to weigh in on a name for the female cub.

Voting ends May 2 and the winning name will be announced May 14. Anana's sister also gave birth to twins last fall, and both of those cubs survived.

Potential names for the cub are Amelia Gray (Amelia meaning "defender"), Denali (the highest mountain peak in the Alaska Range), Elisapee (a Native Alaskan name), and Vieta (meaning "spot"). Anana's other cub died.

The zoo says the cubs eventually will be on public display on a rotating schedule, not at the same time. The Columbus Dispatch reports they were the only captive cubs born in the country a year ago. Their father is a bear named Nanuq.
