The group gathered near President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The pro-Trump group were asked not to march but insisted they had permits to do so, while those opposing the President's administration had not sought police permission for the counter rally.

Omaha police did not immediately return phone and email messages Saturday seeking more information on the arrests.

A Trump rally was held in Hollywood along Hollywood Boulevard and met with protesters, creating tensions among the groups Saturday afternoon. Dozens of people held signs, chanted, carried flags and showed their support for Trump. "Border walls have got to go from Palestine to Mexico". "All of you have to disperse", said a Philadelphia police officer.

The clash even turned chaotic at one point, with protesters throwing smoke bombs into the street.

The Philadelphia was schedule to last from 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., which was to include a march from the Philadelphia Art Museum and back Independence Mall.

Spokesman Eric Gripp added there had been no injuries, and two people were issued citations for disorderly conduct, Philly.com reports.
