Woody Harrelson has apparently quit smoking weed

Woody Harrelson said he felt like weed was preventing him from becoming emotionally available

Despite his recent decision to leave his joints at the door, Harrelson confessed that he still considers himself to be a "party animal", just an "extremely moderate" one.

Harrelson said that "30 solid years of just partying too fucking hard" had made him emotionally unavailable, though he still has no problem at all with marijuana in general.

This not-so-chill news comes from a Vulture piece about Harrelson's new film Wilson, during which the interviewer asked him a softball question about a "misconception" that people might have about him. He added he's still a supporter of marijuana, even if he's no longer partaking.

Despite being a fixture on every "10 Celebrities Who Totally Hit the Bong and Don't Care Who Knows" listicle, Woody Harrelson hasn't smoked pot in months.

'I don't have a problem at all with smoking. I think it's great. "Even cops say that the side effect is euphoria", he said. Or the ... what do you call it?... Harrelson hasn't gotten high in almost a year. The effect of it is euphoria. "But when you're doing it all the time, it just becomes ... But I try to be moderate with the drinking, too". It would be weird to just be like, "Okay, let me have a hit off that", and then suddenly go back to smoking too much, which is ... "I really don't want this interview to turn into a whole thing about that".

"Last night, someone had not just good herb, but sativa - really good sativa", Harrelson explained. "There's a joint, and beautifully rolled". "She's a very young actress but I think she's super f**king talented and I love how she can just take a long time before she does anything", he said of her patience and dramatic timing.
