Once done Paramount Pictures will distribute the film as "Mission: Impossible 6" is scheduled to be released on July 27, 2018. Director Christopher McQuarrie recently asked "Superman" actor Henry Cavill to star in the hit action film on Instagram. We could not be more excited about the character Henry Cavill's going to play.

The Top Gun star has been training for a year for a spectacular stunt in the sequel, which will also film on location in Paris and London.

According to Ellison, this new stunt is going to be "the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie", and he's been preparing for it since "right after Rogue Nation came out".

Watch as Tom Cruise performs an outrageous stunt for the movie Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. When he's scaling inverted cliffs, climbing the side of a skyscraper, or hanging off the side of an AIRPLANE AS IT'S TAKING OFF (?!), Cruise goes all out for his stunts in the Mission: Impossible franchise. "It's gonna be mind-blowing". Joking aside, Tom Cruise's unflinching commitment to performing his own stunts ought to be commended, and as Ellison reveals to Collider, it's all part of the actor's, ahem, mission to keep audiences rooted to the edge of their seats.

"It all comes from the best place".

Unless this Mummy reboot really takes off, the Mission: Impossible movies are basically Tom Cruise's last real connection to the mainstream Hollywood success that he used to effortlessly command just a few years ago.

Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but few actors put their bodies on the line for the craft as he does.

For my money, the best sequence in the entire series is the motorcycle chase through the Moroccan highways in Rogue Nation, mainly because everything is moving sooo fast and McQuarrie positions his camera to make sure you recognize that Cruise himself is on that bike.
