Super Bowl 2018: Date, Location, Tickets For The Next NFL Championship Game

Houston's Super Bowl Host Committee had some advice for the Minnesota Committee in a Monday morning press conference.

"It was a great week for us", Belichick said.

No speculation needed, though, on where the big game will be. Members of the Minnesota's Super Bowl Host Committee have spent the past week in Houston, where this year's Super Bowl is being played. During her visit to Houston, Montag and her Meet Minneapolis coworkers were picking up tips on "how we can enhance the visitor experience" when Minneapolis hosts, she said.

"I can't think of anything more they could have done and done better than they did do", said Mayor Sylvester Turner. "We're calling this the 'Bold North, ' and we really want to have visitors and our residents ... take advantage and really embrace the cold weather and the snow".

Howard said the host committee, set up as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, is tasked organizing numerous events during the week-and-a-half lead up to the big game.

St. Paul will have its Winter Carnival during Super Bowl week next year, maybe with a little more football flavor.

The eyes of the world will be on Minnesota, as the Super Bowl heads to the Vikings' 1-year-old stadium that played to rave reviews during its first season because of the vistas created by 95-foot-high glass doors and a clear roof that allowed light to stream in during games.

Beginning this week, the committee will roll out 52 weeks of events and charitable giving aimed at putting the 52nd Super Bowl in the civic consciousness.

Also Monday, bridges were lit throughout Minnesota to commemorate the state now being next in line to play host to the big game. Our celebration is throughout Minnesota.

The only other Super Bowl in Minnesota was Super Bowl XXVI on January 26, 1992, when Washington defeated Buffalo 37-24.

The Minnesota delegation showed a video to commemorate the handing off of the Super Bowl. Sports figures shown included Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves, Matt Dumba of the Wild and Vikings hall of famers Carl Eller and Bud Grant. "It's very lovely and unique to Minnesota".
