WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Results

Since the Royal Rumble pay-per-view will be a four-hour show (starting at 7 p.m. ET), the Kickoff Show will be two hours long, starting at 5 p.m. ET.

The Royal Rumble is always one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, and rightfully so. These bouts will all have implications toward WrestleMania 33.

The Viper came inside the ring soon after The Undertaker had eliminated Goldberg. Orton then hit an RKO on Reigns and eliminated him, winning the Royal Rumble for the second time in his career after 2009. For the first time ever, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would be defended in the Royal Rumble match.

Note: Betting odds are from Paddy Power and are current as of January 28.

In 2017, this won't be happening with the victor of the Royal Rumble match receiving a World title opportunity for either the WWE or Universal Championship.

Orton will now be going onto Wrestlemania to face either WWE Champion John Cena, or Universal Champion Kevin Owens. However, at No. 30, Triple H would return after being away for six weeks. Be sure to check back Monday for the Best and Worst of the Royal Rumble. A main event spot isn't guaranteed either.

With plans constantly evolving and seemingly never set in stone, don't be surprised if The Undertaker, an early favorite, is, in fact, the man who ends up winning the Royal Rumble match.
